Pta-Contract/Per Diem

Position : Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location : Artesia,New Mexico Pay scale :$52,000.00 to $72,000.00

Shift : 8 to 5
Responsibilities :
Deliver exceptional patient care, providing assistance with daily activities and personal care. Respond to patient needs promptly, assessing requirements and offering appropriate support. Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and urinary/fecal output. Communicate with medical professionals to gather information on patient conditions and treatment plans. Assist patients with medication reminders, staying current with relevant training and adhering to facility policies. Education: Graduate of nationally-accredited PTA program Work Experience: Greater than one year of experience preferred, but new graduates welcomed to apply License/Certification: Must be eligible for current licensure with the New Mexico State Physical Therapy Board. BLS required Requirements:
State certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Current CPR certification (American Heart Association). Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
