Responsibilities
• Review design documents for constructability and field construction issues• Establish project site expectations for safety, quality, and conduct• Coordinate site logistics and prepare work plan• Oversee technical interpretation of construction documents• Arrange coordination meetings for multiple trade contractors• Coordinate permitting and inspections• Prioritize and review critical submittals• Maintain punch list and verify trade contractor timesheets• Complete daily reports of progress and concerns• Resolve conflicts and disputes with contractual agreements• Develop safety program and enforce safety expectations
Requirements
• 5-10 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent• Experience leading a healthcare project of minimum $10MM value• Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) requirements• Familiarity with trade divisions and construction tools/methods/materials• Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders• Clear and quick communication abilities• Problem-solving and risk management skills• OSHA 30-Hour certification• First-Aid/CPR certification• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred)
