Job summary
Flint Hills Resources (FHR) Project Capability is seeking a Project Sr. Electrical Engineer.The engineer will provide support for projects to advance the FHR Vision.Location: Rosemount, MN Pine Bend Refinery with travel required.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Review and approve deliverables from engineering contractor.• Support witness inspections of Factory Acceptance Testing and site-based Acceptance Testing.• Provide input into construction quality planning and commissioning planning.• Seek out and mitigate risks proactively.• Support the RFI and NCR processes.• Partner with electrical asset management in early project phases.• Manage the SKM model and complete load flows, fault current, relay coordination, and arc flash studies.• Review and approve HAC analysis for each project.• Complete assessment per API RP500 and FHR standards.• The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical work experience.• Experience in evaluating new technology for industrial facilities.• Experience with phased/gated project execution model.• Experience with engineering contractors and design/specification documents.
