PROJECT SCHEDULER
This role requires Primevera P6 and Microsoft projects experience.
The Project Scheduler is the lead planner for numerous assignments, responsible for driving development and implementation project schedules. This individual communicates heavily with Field Project Management and Corporate teams for vital matters. Must be on point with identifying potential delays and impacts to avoid project delays. Project Schedulers are also responsible for ensuring project compliance with contractual schedule requirements. They must also provide adequate support for partners seeking solutions to recover and/or improve upon project completion as planned scope. Open and clear communication is critical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
? Follow both site specific and corporate schedule initiatives
? Create and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure
? Qualify scheduling submissions
? Monitor relationships, constraints and milestones
? Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content
? Review schedule content, provide comparison schedule reports
? Prepare site and or corporate specific schedule reports
? Create and maintain Resource Loaded Schedules
? Manage shifting schedules with spontaneous pivots
QUALIFICATIONS :
? Associate's degree or higher
? 2-4 years Construction Management/Scheduling experience preferred
? Advanced Knowledge of Primavera Project Planner
? Experience in use of Microsoft Project; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
? Have demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems
? Excellent oral presentation and written skills required.
? Ability to work well and persuade people at all organization levels.
? Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects.
? Ability to work well in a group environment and foster a team approach
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
? The position will require the occasional physical ability to climb, and function in elevation changes by means of self-propulsion to include ladders, scaffolding, stairs, etc.
? Ability to negotiate construction work areas in a safe manner and behavior.
? Performing the duties, the employee will regularly be in an active onsite construction environment where they will be exposed to moving mechanical components & equipment.
