Duration: 10 Months
Pay Range: $60.22 to $65.22/hr
Job Description:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Team collaboration: Main focus of Tractor allocation is collab with multiple teams - will work with business coaches teams, bus development, and marketing group.
Will the contractor be managing one or multiple programs? Average day/week - planning weekly tractor allocation, connecting with teams, which carriers are performing well and which aren't - responsible for populating dashboards (related to tractor allocations - could take a day or so)
Leadership Principle: Earns Trust - really collaborate and gain folks trust
Deliver results - tractor allocation is key to mapping out capacity and providing to entire network (all of US)
Learn and Be Curious - learn and find out as much as you can and have steep learning curves; Ownership
Will they require advanced technical knowledge: Experience in logistics would be helpful
Experience in handling excel based dashboards; create tools in excel
PM Experience
5+ PM experience
Bachelors - ideally Masters in Operations
