This role has a big responsibility and contribution on the results ensuring that projects stay on schedule and on budget. You will be responsible for planning and managing the material associated with capital equipment orders for standard products ensuring customer and internal delivery requirements are met. Also working in this role, you will have a great visibility among departments.This position is in Brookfield, WI - with minimum of 4 times a week at the office.Team you belong to:You will join a team of Project Planners which are responsible for planning and monitoring the progress of projects deliverables through their life cycles. The Project Planner ensures that other internal departments and suppliers provide the deliverables of the project on time and help the Project Managers to coordinate tasks and track the completion of schedule duties to prevent delays.In this position, you work very close to the Project Managers for Standard Projects and will have the opportunity to liaise with several departments such as Proposals, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Support and Field Services.Our team culture is all about to be proactive, result oriented mindset, ambitious for better results implementing continuous improvement tools, fast pace, and hands on. The members in our team are in Brookfield (WI), York (PA) and Finland.What you'll do:• Manage the scope of projects, including determining the start and delivery dates.• Communicate, track, and make sure teams adhere to delivery dates for all project deliverables working with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehouse and other departments.• Perform critical path analysis in projects to track, and coordinate actions to meet the On Time Delivery (OTD) requirements.• Liaison between Metso offices to ensure Mining Crushing Standard Products parameters are properly implemented, and global BOMs are extended to respective plants.• Compile monthly data for key metrics in standard presentation - warehouse, expedites, project results, etc - review the data and implement/keep track of action plans.• Ensure engineering change notices are communicated & implemented within the project.• Maintain production priority for capital equipment jobs utilizing scheduling reports.• Coordinate picking & packing of Milwaukee supplied items with the warehouse.• Assist the Project Management Team with scheduling updates for shortages, material impact on milestone invoices, material deliverables and action plans for OTD requirements.• Implement and keep track of project and department KPIs.• Track data related to Project Planner activities, provide reports and schedules, identify, and manage improvement projects to meet and/or exceed project delivery targets.• Identify risks that can delay a project or increase the cost and take proper action.• Lead cross-functional projects resulting in cost savings, lead-time reductions, and/or new communication, tools, and policies.• Provide inputs for lessons learned.• Create and keep updated procedures and work instructions.
