Burch Energy is looking for a Project Manager to join our Equitable Program Delivery team. The selected individual will work directly with our utility clients, small-business partners, and community-based organizations to design and deliver novel initiatives. Together we will shift the narrative to ensure equitable distribution of resources towards historically marginalized communities and people.

In general, duties will include supporting a variety of client programs in Oregon and Washington. Managing programs may include helping shape Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)/Anti-racist Equity and Inclusion (AEI) initiatives, helping clients plan and execute on community engagement strategies, coordinating technical deliverables, negotiating scope, schedule, and budgets, and managing a team to deliver on our commitments.

Specific duties expected of the Program Manager position include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with executive staff, directors, and program delivery teams to support program development, delivery, and expansion.

Oversee the successful implementation and delivery of programs and initiatives as outlined in awarded contracts.

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Create customer-facing deliverables.

Maintain program documentation and ensure processes are followed consistently.

Monitor and report on program engagement, metrics, and outcomes.

Support the integration of DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) principles into program design and execution, leveraging personal insights and the companys Equitable Program Delivery Team.

Conduct needs assessments, stakeholder analysis, and program evaluations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for equitable program design.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate evidence-based practices, inclusive methodologies, and innovative approaches into program development.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
A bachelors degree or equivalent with at least 5 years human-services related experience.

Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.

Minimum of three (3+) years of project management experience.

Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Experience working with non-profit organizations, diverse populations, cultural awareness, and cultural responsiveness.

Effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to present content virtually and in-person.

Experience responding to RFPs.

Experience adapting scope, schedule, and budgets to meet client expectations.

Showing up with purpose and professionalism, acting with integrity.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Ability to collaborate well with others, delegate and task share.

Ability to adjust, learn and problem solve when faced with challenges or change (adaptability)

Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools (Teams/Zoom) and Microsoft Office products including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote.

*This position is a hybrid role. Approximately 50% of this position will require in-person attendance at meetings, training courses, and community events. Applicants who currently reside in or are willing to relocate to Portland, Oregon are preferred.

Benefit
Salary Range $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
