Project Manager Lighting #2

Job Description
It is the Project Manager's responsibility to organize and manage the execution phase of a project and make sure that essential tasks are completed on-time, within the estimated budget for the project and in compliance with contracted project specifications and requirements. Work under the location Project Director to manage projects as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in project planning/management

In depth knowledge of DMX, SACN, RDM and manufacturer specific lighting networking protocols,

Solid knowledge of electricity and electronics

Experience working safely with hand and power tools.

In addition, they must be able to read and interpret system drawings, electrical schematics, architectural plans and lighting plots,

Excellent computer skills and familiarity with applicable hardware and software.

OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Requirements

This position is full time.

A Bachelor's degree in Technical Theater or a similar field (or equivalent professional experience) is required.

Production / Stagehand experience is preferred.

Depending on location, you may have to travel occasionally both within the US and abroad.

Project Managers work both in an office environment as well as in the field onsite at each project.

Project Managers work a standard work week but may be required to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
