The Project Manager, Landscaping operates under the guidance of the Division Manager, receiving direction and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives. This role involves managing a landscaping team and serving as a point of contact for The Arc of San Diegos government customer. Success in this role is measured by effective project management, adherence to contractual obligations, and ensuring client satisfaction.

The pay range for this position is $66,560 to $68,640. This position is located in Point Loma at the Marine Core Recruit Depot.

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple landscaping programs, ensuring both in-house and external contracts are met to full customer satisfaction.Independently perform Quality Control inspections on landscaping work and provide reports to the government.Execute contract matters relating to government landscaping contracts under the guidance of the Landscape Services Division Manager.Maintain positive working relationships with representatives of contracting entities, vendors, and subcontractors through continuous communication.Assess, plan, price, schedule, and independently implement landscape construction projects.Develop bids for proposals, ensuring accurate cost estimations and scope of work.Supervise employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.Minimum four (4) years of related work experience, including at least two (2) years independently assessing, planning, and implementing landscape construction projects.Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience required.Must possess a valid California Drivers license, current auto insurance, and acceptable DMV driving record.We'd love it if you:
