Job summary
The Project Manager will manage a team of personnel assigned to an implementation, upgrade, or similar type of project.Accountable for project deliverables, timeline, and budget.Responsible for creating and maintaining a project plan and delivering excellent customer service.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Accountable for the successful completion of a project's deliverables• Documents project scope• Develops, updates, and actively manages a comprehensive project plan• Drives collaboration between functional teams and customers• Identifies and mitigates risks• Coordinates and schedules meetings and onsite activities• Facilitates meetings and ensures agenda and minutes are published• Responsible for ensuring project artifacts are stored in a location in line with company policies• Manages resource bookings for assigned projects• Responsible for reporting on the status of a project and escalating issues
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field• PMI certification (PMP) preferred• Ability to build strong relationships within the department and with internal partners• Professional knowledge of integrations, data, sprint planning, QA preparedness, and agile methodologies• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously• Advanced computer skills required• Ability to communicate complex problems in an easily understood manner• Well organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager in the healthcare, healthcare insurance, or software industry• Experienced in project governance, capacity planning, and project budgeting• Working knowledge of the healthcare industry (Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial)• Proficient technical understanding• Excellent verbal, organizational, and written skills
Key Skills Needed
