Project Manager (Heavy Civil)

We are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced Project Manager (Heavy Civil) to join our team to oversee construction projects in the civil engineering and construction industry. The successful candidate must have a strong background in the asphalt paving/resurfacing and highway/roadways fields, preferably with experience within the MDOT and/or DOT.
The Project Manager will be responsible for taking the lead role on managing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. They will be managing a team of professionals and will be required to provide guidance, direction, and feedback during the entire project life cycle.
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage project development from start to finish; define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Drive and evaluate bids from contractors and subcontractors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Manage and coordinate all construction activities. Develop and manage project budget and schedule. Track project milestones. Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure project success. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in Heavy Civil construction projects. Excellent knowledge of asphalt paving/resurfacing and highway/roadways. Experience within the MDOT and/or DOT is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
