Project Manager - Design

Job summary
The Project Manager - Design is responsible for managing projects and design activities at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.They ensure that the design of the resort adheres to the brand requirements of the organization.The role requires expertise in hospitality interior design and involves managing outsourced design efforts and coordinating with various internal departments.

Responsibilities
• Create holistic design solutions for hospitality spaces, including bars, lounges, restaurants, and guest suites.• Ensure brand consistency in all design elements.• Manage projects from feasibility studies to closeout.• Work with internal and external design resources.• Lead design strategy sessions with development team and outside consultants.• Oversee in-house design projects.• Produce schematic drawings, coordinate carpet design, and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment.• Create and maintain project schedules.• Refine or modify existing systems or products.• Direct and mentor others in completing tasks.
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of design and project management experience.• Experience in a high-profile design firm or similar organization.• Experience managing and coordinating design consultants at a senior level.• Experience in ground-up hotel, residential, or retail development preferred.• Excellent portfolio of previous works.• Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field preferred.• Strong creativity, artistic ability, and attention to detail.• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse backgrounds.• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
