Description
Excel Engineering, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a full-time Project Manager Business Professional. This is for our power utility client in Denver, CO. This individual will manage multiple projects based out of our client's Denver steam and chilled water plants, maintaining district cooling and steam heat throughout downtown Denver.
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will lead all the capital improvement projects from pipe replacement, valve replacement, vault replacement, etc. in the streets of downtown Denver.
Responsible for managing the projects from start to finish, helping with, and determining what projects need to be created, providing justification, etc.
Overseeing the work in the field and overseeing contractors.
Maintain close communication with some of the client's outside customers that are supplied steam heat and chilled water, including the Colorado Convention Center and other customers throughout downtown.
Interfacing with contractors and providing oversight.
Work with client design groups to come up with engineering designs, and execute those out in the field.
Cradle to grave project management, including budget/schedule management.
Requirements

This individual will report to the job site five days a week due to the nature of the work.
Engineering Degree (Mechanical preferred as most work is mechanical).
Mechanical systems experience.
Other Desired Skills/Certifications
Microsoft Office
Sharepoint
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
SAP would be a bonus.
