JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Engineers for Bellevue, WA location. Apply mechanical systems design knowledge, skill, and ability to create construction drawings for project owners. Create construction HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection documents for permitting. Accurately and timely produce mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design elements according to project specifications. Produce load calculations and assist in the preparation of other documents relevant to assigned projects. Accurately and consistently execute QA/QC process. Participate in post design consultation activities and provide timely billing of projects to accounting department. Technical environment: Calculating heat load, ventilation, equipment sizes, duct sizes, pipe sizes, and water usage; designing hydronic systems, ejector pump stations, and central water heating and distribution systems; designing VRF, packaged rooftop units, and split systems; experience in HVAC and plumbing designs for multifamily, hotel and modular construction buildings; experience with different construction types, including concrete, wood, and metal-framed buildings; producing construction drawings and markups with AutoCAD and Bluebeam; reviewing construction documents and RFIs; preparing energy documentations per state Energy Code Standards; experience with LEED standards and documentation process; presenting mechanical and plumbing solutions/designs to clients, architects and city officials; QC/QA construction drawings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, or as a mechanical engineer required.
