Responsibilities
• Plan and direct design and technical resources on complex projects• Develop and implement engineering/design strategies for project objectives• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, standards, and legislation• Provide technical direction to supply chain for procurement• Monitor project technical scope performance and report on progress• Ensure quality and HSE requirements are met during construction• Manage resources and milestones for efficient project execution• Ensure contractors are qualified and experienced for project delivery• Support project manager in achieving project benefits and objectives• Coordinate technical team resource requirements and progress
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline• 10 years full design project lifecycle experience• 5 years management of a multi-discipline team• 3 years management of multi-cultural teams• Knowledge of project management techniques• Experience managing complex contractual relationships• Knowledge and implementation of nuclear safety and environmental permit requirements• Fluency in business English and location-specific business language
