The Project Engineer will be responsible to lead and oversee projects conducted to improve the operations of a high security printing facility. This includes such as coordinating project timelines, managing budgets and ensuring that all project requirements are met. The position plays a key role in problem solving and decision making throughout the project with a large emphasis on quality. This is a key position reporting directly to the Sr Director of Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities Must be capable of functioning independently on complex technical assignments.
Capable of developing detailed equipment specifications, including pre-commissioning testing, assessing vendor qualifications, developing operational and quality programs to optimize equipment performance, and managing a preventive maintenance function to lower operating costs and improve reliability.
Activities include conducting design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor bid evaluations.

Planning and scheduling project timelines
Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
Ensuring that projects are completed on time and budget
Monitoring and controlling project progress
Managing project resources, such as materials and equipment
Identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project
Communicating project status updates to key stakeholders
Ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality standards
Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies as needed
Qualifications Minimum education
A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
Years Experience
3-5 years of experience in Industrial Project Management.
Proficient in MS Office suite of software including Microsoft Project or related Project Management Software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment of rapid change.
Demonstrated experience in design/problem solving.
Demonstrated experience on major capital projects.
Prior experience in Operations and/or Maintenance.
