Job Level: Entry Level Employment Type: Full Time Position Summary: Support project management in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects. Assist with project and contract administration using basic engineering principles. Contribute to project management, engineering, and construction administration under supervision to ensure project success.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Prioritize safety, assist in implementing safety plans, and participate in site safety inspections, documenting and reporting identified issues. Ensure quality by understanding company culture, maintaining records, and assisting in walk-through inspections. Familiarize with contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure work compliance, recognizing and reporting changes in site conditions accordingly. Support implementation and enforcement of stormwater management plans and other assigned compliance tasks under Project Superintendent guidance. Attend meetings, training, assist in schedule development, collect progress data, and draft short-term schedules under supervision. Coordinates and tracks project schedule for subcontractor buyout, submittals, material delivery, and subcontractor mobilization. Facilitates document management and control, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of RFIs, submittals, transmittals, on-site as-built documentation, and records meeting minutes for documentation during OAC meetings. Manages closeout processes, ensuring timely delivery and organization of required documents, including as-built drawings, warranties, RFI's, and O&M manuals. Collect and analyze cost data, perform cost coding, and understand HPM's quantity tracking system for effective cost control, participating in monthly cost report and forecast review with Project Manager. Coordinate all procurement activities, including purchase order creation, sub/vendor contract drafting, material ordering and receiving, pay application approval, and procurement log maintenance, while also assisting the Project Manager with project-specific procurement tasks. Analyzes all construction and contract documents, such as owner agreements, plans, and subcontracts, actively identifying and tracking changes, and collaborates with the Project Manager to document and resolve. Education and Certification Requirements: Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Basic Requirements: Must be over the age of 18 to apply. A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required, as per company standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and multitasking in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Motivated self-starter dedicated to excellence and proactive problem-solving. Demonstrates a strong work ethic, committed to achieving accurate and efficient results. Deep commitment to safety, working closely with team members to prevent accidents/injuries. Solid computer skills including proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) with a willingness to adapt to new software. Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, scheduling tools is a plus. Understanding of quantity tracking and how it relates to production and budget is preferred but not required. Collaborative team member capable of autonomously achieving deadlines, goals, and objectives. Ensure consistent and punctual attendance, demonstrating reliability and regularity. Complete tasks within designated deadlines during standard operating hours and be available for overtime and weekend work as necessary. Work safely and efficiently, adhering to both oral and written instructions, including safety protocols, equipment guidelines, and company policies. Sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift 25+ pounds frequently. Salary: $80,000 - $105,000
