We are looking for a skilled Project Estimator to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and cultivating strong relationships within managed repair programs. As a Project Estimator, you will represent our company by ensuring prompt responses to insurance carriers and customer needs, thereby contributing to our growth and reputation as a leader in customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
General Job Management:
- Achieve a 96% customer satisfaction rating
- Ensure timely completion of jobs meeting profit margins
- Maintain clear communication with clients and insurance parties throughout projects
- Document all activities as per company standards
- Demonstrate expertise in construction and restoration for efficient job completion
- Manage a sustainable volume of business
Customer Service/Sales:
- Focus on expanding residential managed repair program work through positive interactions with insurance adjusters
- Engage in sales and business development activities with target adjusters
- Participate in industry-related events for marketing purposes
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers on marketing initiatives
- Address client concerns promptly
- Strive to achieve annual sales goals
Scoping & Estimating:
- Proficiency in required estimating systems
- Knowledge of insurance carrier estimating guidelines
- Timely preparation of estimates and related documentation
- Responsible for payment schedules and fund collection
Production Management:
- Review job scopes and budgets with Project Manager
- Obtain necessary approvals before starting additional work
- Monitor job costs against budget
- Ensure quality control and safety compliance
Teamwork:
- Maintain open communication with colleagues
- Respect all team members and external associates
- Contribute actively to company success
Personal Development:
- Stay updated with industry knowledge
- Attend educational events for professional development
Requirements:
- Experience in Insurance Restoration Estimating or Commercial Construction Estimating
- Strong construction knowledge and budgeting skills
- Flexibility for occasional nights and weekends
