Job Description SummaryAs a member of the Finance team, you will be an active contributor to the lead the cash campaign, predictable project forecasts and the ability to identify performance obligations for the projects you are assigned to. This role will require you to be responsible for the financial management and reporting of GE Steam Power long term and point in time projects across the Nuclear & Industrial product-lines in accordance with internal control rules.Job DescriptionYour Role:Oversee financial performance of assigned projects.Drive technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification and operational excellence; deliver accurate financial results, reporting and analysis.Ensure project accounting is in accordance with Company guidelines.Manage and control revenue recognition process, liaise with the Project and Operations Teams to ensure proper cost calculations.Lead the preparation and presentation of project financial reviews throughout project lifecycle as needed.Analyze execution performance and propose action plans to improve contract margin and cash profile.Demonstrate proactive predictable financial management, reporting and forecasting that enables the team to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks in order to achieve or surpass financial metrics.Maintain accurate financial records throughout project execution reflecting status of projects to support the Project and/or Service Manager in making sound financial management decisions.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline, from an accredited college or university, with 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting analysis.3+ years of financial experience working with Project Operations teams.Desired Qualifications:Project financial controls experience and global project finance experience strongly preferred, Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite of productsExperince with SAPThe salary range for this position is $97,700 - $130,200 USD Annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
