Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team for a critical role in supporting a power billing analytic software conversion project. As a Business Analyst specializing in power bill reviews, you will play a pivotal role in verifying charges and categories within our power billing system. Your efforts will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our conversion project
Power Bill Review: Conduct comprehensive reviews of power bills to verify charges, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate categorization. Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and techniques to analyze billing data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Software Testing: Assist in testing the new power billing software to ensure functionality and accuracy. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to power billing processes, procedures, and system requirements. Project Support: Support the project team in various tasks related to the power billing software conversion project. Skills Required Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the energy or utilities industry. Experience with power billing systems and processes is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and software testing methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment Education/Training/Certifications
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
