The Project Accountant is responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the project team to ensure the successful completion of projects. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as excellent organization and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project costs and provide accurate financial reporting
Develop and maintain cost control processes, policies, and procedures
Create and maintain project budget and forecasts
Prepare and analyze project performance reports
Assist in monitoring project activities, progress, and performance
Prepare and analyze financial statements and other documents
Track and maintain project data
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
