Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Program Manager to lead and oversee our Java development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java technologies excellent project management skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering Javabased solutions. The Java Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of Java development projects ensuring timely delivery and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
Responsibilities: Project Leadership:
o Lead and manage endtoend Java development projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
o Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the Java development team.
Team Collaboration:
o Foster a collaborative and innovative development environment.
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product management quality assurance and infrastructure to ensure seamless project execution.
Java Development Oversight:
o Oversee the entire Java development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
o Ensure the development team follows best practices coding standards and implements efficient and scalable solutions.
Resource Management:
o Manage resources effectively including workload distribution task prioritization and team allocation.
o Conduct regular team meetings to monitor project progress discuss challenges and provide guidance.
Quality Assurance:
o Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain robust testing processes for Java applications.
o Ensure the delivery of highquality bugfree software.
Stakeholder Communication:
o Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
o Manage expectations and provide regular updates to senior management.
Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks and challenges in Java development projects and implement mitigation strategies.
o Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
Continuous Improvement:
o Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Java development team.
o Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in Java development.
Requirements Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience as a Java Program Manager or similar role with a focus on Java development projects.
Strong technical background in Java technologies and handson experience with Java development.
Project management certification (PMP PRINCE2) is a plus.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
