About the role: The PM is responsible for providing proactive program management and providing the COR with specific information and status of contract employees daily or as required. The PM shall be dedicated full time to support this contract. The PM shall be accessible and responsive to the CO and/or COR on all matters related to performance of this contract in person, by phone, or TEAMS between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST, Monday through Friday and shall respond to requests for discussion or resolution of technical issues within two (2) hours of notification by the COR (notifications can be in the form of an email or telephonic). For scheduled and unscheduled absences of the PM, the contractor shall follow the procedures outlined in Contingency Plan.
Responsibilities: Direct and supervises ~36 Personnel Security Specialists and Personnel Security Assistants of varying levels of expertise Experience working with a computer including all common office management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office); Experience with multiple levels of communication between various levels of management; Experience managing security staff; Must have problem identification and problem solving and maintain a professional demeanor under highly stressful circumstances; Must understand all areas of personnel security and background investigations; Must understand operational methods of PSD; Be able to maintain and manage communication between all parties; Ensures program schedules, performance, and deliverables are met Provide risk management planning and performing qualitative risk analysis; Be able to define, sequence and estimate activities and resources; Experience with acquiring, developing, and managing project teams; and Oversight of and responsible for quality control and contract compliance. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree Experience in program or project management Must have a Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI. Qualifications on a range of security-related skills along with a verified record of proven reliability and good conduct to minimize personnel and staffing issues Minimum of seven (7) years of risk management experience, Minimum of two (2) years of work experience being at a supervisory or command level analyst; Minimum of five (5) years' work experience in personnel security administration and shall possess intimate knowledge of the security process as it relates to background investigations. Preferred Qualifications/Requirements: Experience with risk management including problem identification and problem solving is highly recommended. Daily, the PM shall analyze the operational security environment throughout PSD (where contractor employees are concerned) and work closely with the PSD COR to ensure contractual obligations are being met.
