Program Manager for the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research's Innovation, Diversity, Health Equity, Accountability, and Leadership in Clinical and Translational Science Initiative (IDEAL-CTS)Responsible for developing and maintaining databases, planning and implementing strategies, and serving as a liaison for health equity investigatorsMaster's or doctorate degree required, with at least 5 years of experience as a program coordinator/manager in a clinical or research program

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain database of researchers doing/interested in health equity/health disparities work.• Work with scientific writer to maintain database of word and graphic-based products from IDEAL-CTS.• Serve as central point of contact for IDEAL-CTS and help link investigators with mentors and opportunities.• Plan and implement strategy to support mentoring, networking, and funding opportunities for early-career investigators.• Plan and carry out Annual IDEAL-CTS Statewide Retreat.• Serve as liaison and central resource for health equity investigators.• Develop leadership training program for CTS and health equity.• Assist in development and dissemination of Health Equity/IDEAL-CTS toolkit.• Help initiate Health Equity CTS grant seed funding projects.• Represent IDEAL-CTS at meetings and coordinate networking opportunities.
Requirements
• Master's or doctorate degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Business, Education, Social Sciences, or related field.• At least 5 years of experience as a program coordinator/manager in a clinical or research program.• Medical or public health background is a plus.• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams in a diplomatic and effective manner.• Ability to effectively lead diverse work teams.
