Responsibilities
• Daily program management throughout a contract and/or task order life cycle• Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress• Managing the program's budget• Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements• Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies• Managing and utilizing resources across projects and update and maintain personnel information• Managing stakeholders' communication• Managing contract deliverables and documentations• Working closely with site Project Managers and Leads• Working closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers/task leads to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives• Maintain the Project Management Plan to detail key activities and milestones
Requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or obtain/maintain a minimum of Top-Secret clearance• Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills• A bachelor's degree and four (4) years of supervisory experience required. Six (6) years of supervisory experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree• Possess an understanding of and experience-based familiarity with administrative operations, personnel management, and fiscal management at a management level• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Power Point
Key Skills Needed
• Practical experience in project management• Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques• Experience in managing multiple contracts/task orders and contract transition• Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program• Strong leadership and management skills• Excellent knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures• Ability to address challenges with innovative solutions
