Responsibilities
• Ensure program participants are treated with dignity and respect• Maintain safety and security of program participants, employees, and guests• Respond to crises and emergencies, request proper emergency and police response• Assist individuals in maintaining a stable and safe environment• Patrol and report on site perimeter and surrounding area• Monitor security and revise practices as needed• Supervise data entry and registration• Complete reports and ensure compliance with security procedures• Conduct intake interviews and maintain guest files• Oversee Ban process and behavioral management• Foster program participant engagement and develop formal engagement opportunities• Supervise case manager and oversee intakes at Hope Villages• Recruit, hire, train, and schedule site staff• Communicate expectations, address workplace safety issues, and mediate disputes• Build relationships with local community representatives• Supervise maintenance tech and case manager• Communicate incidents and relevant information, complete incident reports• Ensure safety and sanitation procedures are followed• Collaborate with service providers, city staff, and stakeholders• Provide support and referrals to social services• Manage expenses, budgets, and financial responsibilities
Requirements
• AA Degree in Social Services or Human Services with experience in shelter operations• Understanding of Trauma Informed Services and homelessness• Experience working with diverse populations and active behavioral health diagnosis• Availability to work flexible hours• Proof of negative TB test, CPR/First Aid Certification, background checks• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
