Responsibilities
• Design and implement initiatives that support the Hub's DEI Working Group• Identify and nurture partnerships that drive recruitment to programs and universities• Support other Holmes Center programs, including MN Cup and Naturally MN• Assist with planning and supervising the execution of significant events• Work closely with the Senior Diversity Officer on recruiting initiatives, conference planning, and the operations of the Center for Inclusive Excellence• Develop and implement diversity initiatives, communicate the Center's work and progress, and support the operations of the Center• Provide leadership and direction for DEI Goals of Great Lakes I-Corps Hub• Lead the Hub's DEI working group and facilitate evidence-based DEI initiatives• Lead training modules, seminars, and conferences on technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, and inclusion• Support the Director in developing programmatic offerings to create a more inclusive culture at the school• Maintain relationships with external community and University partners to advance opportunities and promote the Center's work• Evaluate programmatic offerings and make recommendations for continuous improvement• Represent the Center to stakeholders to advance strategic priorities
Requirements
• BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 8 years• Experience planning or implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives• MBA or graduate degree in a related field (preferred)• Degree in a STEM field or experience working for a technical organization (preferred)• Experience managing or assisting with projects involving multiple stakeholders• Experience communicating with diverse audiences through written and verbal communication• Experience managing or assisting with the planning and execution of large-scale events and/or meetings• Proven project management experience• Proven professionalism and relationship management skills• Ability to work autonomously and within a group setting
