There is an immediate opening for a Service Readiness Manager to work with a strong group of experienced Service Readiness Managers ( SRM ) and Serviceability Engineers. This team supports a wide portfolio including Cloud products, Engineered Systems, X86 and SPARC servers, network products, JBODs and Tape systems. SRMs are responsible for new product introduction ( NPI ), spare part forecasting and initial availability, alternate part identification and End of Support Life planning.

We provide customer satisfaction and delight to our customers as we support their investment in Oracle hardware technologies for Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud and On-Premise environments. The products range from massively scalable Engineered Systems to standalone servers, to network switches, to primary, backup and archive storage solutions. The Service Readiness Managers collaborate closely with Development and Serviceability Engineers, Logistics Planners, Re-manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations and Field Service personal.
What You Will Do: The Service Readiness Manager shepherds products through their New Product Introduction ( NPI ) phase by identifying parts that are to be replaceable spares or individually orderable parts. Part numbers are assigned and the Bill of Material ( BOM ) is updated. Training creation and delivery is facilitated and targeted for Remote Support and Field Service engineers. Once the product is released, ongoing sustaining support is provided consisting of alternate part identification/association and End of Support Life planning.
What You Will Bring: + Your core responsibility is to ensure products to be released are effectively serviceable, all Spare Part Numbers are in place, all needed training has been delivered and spare parts are received and distributed globally to meet forecasted needs.

+ Strong Program/Project management skills, able to work with various teams
+ Acute attention to detail.
+ Experience with hardware products through their lifecycle of Release, Sustaining and End of Support.

+ Confident presentation skills across a wide range of audiences.
+ Able to handle a mixture of scheduled and interrupt driven workloads.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
