Job Summary: The Program Director for the TCU Neeley School of Business, Sales Center will be responsible planning, implementation, supervision and coordination of all activities and initiatives related the Consultative Selling Certificate program. This role will work to build and enrich the student experience while increasing the global reputation and ranking of the Neeley School of Business. This position will aid and support the Director, Director of Corporate Relations, Academic Director, Executive Advisory Board with all necessary events.
Duties & Essential Job Functions: 1. Efficiently coordinates and supports all program courses, activities, and initiatives. This involves managing logistics, ensuring smooth operation of daily tasks, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
2. Clearly defines the scope of various undergraduate initiatives, such as events, social engagements, community outreach, partnership relationships, recruitment, and marketing efforts, in collaboration with the TCU Sales Center teams. Develops comprehensive work plans, maintain schedules that are both accurate and achievable, and ensures all projects are result-oriented. Assesses the resources needed for project completion within set timelines, and reviews progress regularly with senior management to adjust strategies and measures as necessary.
3. Takes charge of developing and executing marketing strategies, including the management of social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn) and the creation or oversight of marketing materials (e.g., flyers, graphics). This role demands creativity and a strategic mindset to effectively promote the program and engage the target audience.
4. Crafts career development materials and frameworks to ensure students are well-prepared for securing jobs or internships. Provides coaching and mentorship on careers in sales, offering guidance on resumes, interview techniques, and overall career strategy. Supports the Sales Practicum with insights into best practices for sales career advancement.
5. Organizes and schedules engagements with corporate partners and sponsors in coordination with the Director of Corporate Relations. Ensures seamless collaboration with hiring firms, aligning expectations and values to foster strong, beneficial relationships.
6. Aids TCU Sales Students in preparing for various aspects of the sales process, including cold calling, role-plays, prospecting, hosting meetings, and presentations. This role requires a hands-on approach to student development, offering personalized feedback and support.
7. Oversees 20-40 student employees, coordinating their roles in supporting courses, activities, and initiatives. This involves task delegation, performance monitoring, and ensuring that the team contributes effectively to the program's objectives.
8. Manages customer relations and event planning through the CRM system, ensuring the accuracy of customer and prospect information. This role is crucial for maintaining organized and efficient administrative and operational processes within the program.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree
• 3 plus years' progressive experience in administrative leadership (preferably in higher education), career services, professional development, sales, or marketing
• Experience with a university sales program
Preferred Education & Experience: • Master's degree
• 5 years sales, career development or marketing experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge of marketing techniques.
• Knowledge of program or project management.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
• Skill in effective communication.
• Skill in some or all components of Microsoft office products.
• Skill in some or all components of Google or other collaborative products.
• Ability to apply initiative and creativity to problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and advise.
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations): • Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.

• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
