We s eek a Program Director serving in the key administrator role at Ohio Health Rehabilitation Hospital - Neuro Transitional Center, opening October 1, 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to change lives. The Neuro Transitional Center has 12 beds and is designed to provide intensive rehabilitation to individuals with an acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury who are unable to safely return home at the time of discharge from an inpatient rehab hospital due to the severity of their impairments. Currently, 93% of our patients return to their homes at discharge from NTC, and now( Ohioans or Buckeyes) will n ot have to leave the state to receive this level of service.
The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the organizational delivery, referral development, and transdisciplinary team to deliver the expected outcome. The tenacious leader we seek will possess excellent communication skills, neuro rehabilitation knowledge, and the ability to motivate, inspire, plan, organize, and strategize to overcome barriers.
Job Duties:
Directs program and center operations to meet program quality and financial indicators. Promotes excellence through exceptional employee experience, training, a positive work environment, and quality outcomes. Ensures the program philosophy is consistently incorporated. This includes a transdisciplinary team approach, creating goals and functionally relevant activities to address patient impairments, the primary therapist role, the treatment floor model, community education, and the patient/family education model. Promotes the neuro transitional rehab program to potential referral sources and payors. Minimum Qualifications:
Current licensure in a clinical discipline, RN, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Neuropsychologist BLS certification through the American Heart Association required Current State Driver's License in good standing required Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of staffing patterns/ratios preferred Masters Degree + two years of leadership experience in an assisted living or rehabilitation environment preferred Experience with brain injury population preferred.
