Responsibilities
• Travel throughout an assigned territory, calling on existing and prospective customers• Build long-term mutually beneficial relationships with feed yards, consulting veterinary practices, consulting nutritionists, and state livestock associations• Present and demonstrate new technologies to customers and educate them on the features, advantages, and benefits of each product• Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts for orders obtained• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships• Compile and maintain target lists of prospective customers• Assist with installation and repair of technology management systems• Recommend changes to improve equipment operation and reduce servicing costs• Assist with training of personnel in the use of technology systems• Participate in sales efforts with Outside Sales Representatives and Sales/Service Representatives• Prepare various reports of business transactions
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of outside sales experience or 10+ years of related experience• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills• Proven ability to sell• Valid driver's license and good driving record• Ability to travel overnight on occasion up to 15% of the time• Strong CRM/systems experience and customer-facing sales background• Strong listening and multitasking skills• Strong leadership and liaison skills between key stakeholders
