We have an immediate need for a full-time, non-exempt  Program & Community Engagement Coordinator (PCEC) in the Greater Boston region. With a focus on community relations and program administration, this  hybrid position  is responsible for supporting key program elements and activities related to SWSG's core girl mentorship program. The salary range for the  PCEC  position is $40,000 - $50,000 , commensurate with experience. 
What we're looking for  Reporting to the Program Manager's role, the  PCEC  will coordinate key program elements, focusing on community relations and program administration. Providing immediate support to the organization's Program Managers, the  PCEC  will engage with partner organizations and program sites/chapters to develop, enhance, and retain relationships.
This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with human services, social work, or educator backgrounds.  What you'll be doing  The  PCEC  directly supports Program Managers in relationship cultivation and maintenance with both program sites (elementary schools/community centers) and college chapters. The primary responsibilities and duties include the following essential functions:
Work closely with Program Managers to support expanding recruitment efforts via community outreach to enroll new girls and develop partnerships with new program sites. Perform administrative functions of SWSG's core mentorship program, such as program logistics, constituent correspondence, and curriculum development. Manage program data management in the Salesforce database and support data collection and tracking. Liaise with representatives at program sites/school districts and chapter leadership at college chapters and support the development and execution of mentor training and coaching. Expand recruitment efforts at college campuses to diversity mentor base by working with chapter leadership to create new recruitment strategies and provide resources as needed. Manage program-related communications and promotion to site and university partners, college mentors, program partnerships, and parents, including developing promotional materials and informative materials/guides for constituents. Attend community and school events to promote the mentoring program and educate potential partnerships and after-school programming sessions for observation, mentor coaching, and/or evaluation.  Support the planning and execution of SWSG annual events. What you'll bring along Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university  and a minimum of one year of volunteer or program management, youth development, or related experience.  The education requirement may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of related experience.  Other Qualifications :  To be optimally successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Highly developed skills in planning, organizing, and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a highly developed ability to effectively communicate with groups of stakeholders for promotion and training purposes, including public speaking skills. Experience working with various ethnic/cultural and educational backgrounds. Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment to meet challenging growth targets on or before deadlines. Understanding of anti-racist frameworks within youth work. Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends as required for events. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision. Familiarity with Boston neighborhoods and communities, as well as the nonprofit community. Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people. Ability to commute within the Boston communities to engage with partner organizations, program sites, and college chapters. An unwavering commitment to the SWSG mission.
