About Acacia Center for Justice:
The Acacia Center for Justice ("Acacia") provides legal support and representation to immigrants facing deportation through the development, coordination, and management of national networks of legal services providers serving immigrants across the country. Acacia's goals are twofold: to support immigrant legal services and defense networks to provide exceptional legal services to immigrants; and to advocate for the expansion of these programs and the infrastructure critical to guaranteeing immigrants access to justice, fairness, and freedom. Acacia ensures accountable, independent, zealous, and person-centered legal services and representation to protect the rights of all immigrants.
Job Summary:
The Program Analyst will support UCP's Technical Compliance team in onboarding/offboarding network program staff, executing contract amendment-related duties, assisting with language access process, providing administrative support on various projects, analyzing government information/data, and organizing quantitative information received from legal service providers and stakeholders. They will develop efficient processes to ensure the team and the network operate optimally.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Onboard a high volume of network program staff onto various program platforms and develop new onboarding tools/resources.
Crosscheck internal records to ensure all network staff have conducted contractually required data security trainings and background checks Grant new network staff access to various platforms/databases integral to their work under the contract; troubleshoot any issues that arise with access to said platforms Help maintain as well as produce tools and materials aimed at improving programmatic efficiencies Effectuate contracting for legal service providers.
Populate subcontractor agreements for new legal service providers, in collaboration with relevant team members Perform contract amendment-related duties and update corresponding internal trackers Provide administrative support to the Technical Compliance team on various projects.
Provide assistance to/liaise with language access providers Manage interpretation and translation requests submitted by network program staff Ensure that various contact lists/internal trackers are up to date Analyze government information and distill key data points for program management.
Track fluctuations in national detention capacity and distill information to relevant team members Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:   
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs, e.g., Outlook and Word Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Preferred: Proficient in Smartsheet Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience A demonstrated interest in or knowledge of immigration and/or children's rights issues Ability to work on multiple projects effectively and efficiently, both independently and collaboratively with a team Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under deadlines Ability to work collegially in an open and collaborative team environment; patient and approachable An uncompromising commitment to immigrants' rights and race equity Compensation and Benefits:
Acacia has established an internal compensation philosophy that centers equity and pay transparency. The salary for this position is set at $65,000. This is a non-exempt role. The salary listed is just one component of Acacia's total compensation package for employees. Supporting Acacia staff—both personally and professionally—is our priority.
