Applied Innovation is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our Managed Network Service team.  The primary focus of this position will be to provide excellent customer service for our Applied Innovation clients. This position is 8 AM - 5 PM in person Monday to Friday is located at 24050 Northwestern Hwy Southfield, MI 48075. This will be achieved through the following: Meeting assigned deadlines to complete tasks. Working collaboratively with other members of the team. Configuring hardware based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Writing SOPs for the configuration of hardware as needed. Reviewing, updating, and creating SOPs for any project related task. Installing and supporting network systems, including workstations, servers, and all network infrastructure devices at the client's location. Following predefined scopes of work. Utilizing effective troubleshooting skills to resolve issues as they arise. Researching and implementing solutions. Communicating in an upbeat, positive, and professional manner. Client facing communication to inform them of work being performed. Keeping up to date on new software and hardware. Willingness to work flexible hours as project demands may require evening and weekend work. Successfully managing time and keeping calendars up to date. Completing various projects as assigned.  Skills: This position will be responsible for having intermediate knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot, the following: Current workstation operating systems for PC and Mac platforms Office 365 Azure AD/Entra ID Meraki Networks/SD Wan Server Administration and Active Directory DS On-prem Exchange and EXO All standard networking protocols. Network storage devices. Phones and mobile devices PC and Server hardware AV/EDR applications S2S and Client VPNs Hyper-V and/or ESXi Management Requirements Include: Minimum 4-year college degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field experience.  A minimum of 2-3 years relevant IT experience is required. IT certification is required, CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
