Responsibilities
• Perform analysis and design of geotechnical projects• Develop contract documents and provide support services during project construction• Provide division management with recommendations on interpretation and application of geotechnical design codes• Develop policy and procedure documents• Continuous improvement to standard specifications and plans• Serve as a technical expert on AASHTO policies and research committees
Requirements
• Master's degree in a civil engineering field or Bachelor's degree with graduate level coursework• Licensure as a Professional Engineer• Practical experience relevant to the assignment• Specialized education and experience may be required• Licensed Professional Engineer in another state must become licensed in Nevada within six months of appointment
