Responsibilities
• Follow procedures, ILS Booklets, and Tech Manuals for equipment maintenance• Interpret drawings and locate shipboard installed equipment• Document discrepant and completed preventive maintenance• Use hand and small power tools, measuring and testing devices• Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data• Compile, review, and analyze data• Use software for compiling reports, statistics, timelines, etc.• Attach resume• Work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends• Understand oral and written instructions
Requirements
• Associate's degree or other 2-year technical degree• High School Diploma or GED• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites• Ability to work at extreme heights• Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb• Ability to lift 40 lbs.• Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round• 4+ years of experience in Automotive Repair, Plant Maintenance, Machinery Installation/Repair• Typing speed of 30 words per minute
Key Skills Needed
• Mechanical equipment experience: pumps and motors preferred
