Production Supervisor Rd Shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all activities of employees assigned to the department. Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards using all resources and support available. Ensure that everyone in the department follow all safety rules and report unsafe conditions as soon as reasonably possible. Coordinate required repair with Maintenance, Tooling etc. Communicate effectively with team leaders and members of the department, by continually updating them on all information affecting the efficient and safe operations within the department. Liaise with all support departments to resolve problems. Direct the department in a manner, that promotes high morale, trust, team work, training, pride, productivity and quality. Accurately complete and promptly distribute paperwork associated with the position, i.e., data collection, labor reporting, scrap reporting, employee evaluations, accident reporting, corrective action notices, employee transaction notices, and any other administrative functions relating to the position and Downtime / Rework charting. Any reasonable request deemed necessary by management. Has the responsibility and authority to: o Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity's relating to product, process and quality system. o Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system. o Verify the implementation of solutions. o Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two year's experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum six months experience in Production Units. Excellent written, mathematical and analytical skills. Good technical understanding of department machinery, processes etc. Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills. Ensure Housekeeping requirements are met. Follow ISO 14001 Procedures and Work Instructions.
