Production SupervisorSolon, OHNow hiring a Production Supervisor for our Solon, OH location. Granex is a national industry leader in custom stone solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, restaurant, and specialty projects.Summary:The Production Supervisor is responsible for the effective management of all production activities occurring within the production facility, including the oversight of production personnel. It is the responsibility of the Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and production goals are efficiently met and maintained, adhering to the production standards of Granex Industries.Essential Job Functions:Manage incoming production orders through the effective prioritization of projects, ensuring all quality standards and applicable deadlines are met.Manage members of production staff, providing guidance on projects while ensuring quality standards, address any quality issues that may arise and ensure applicable deadlines are attained.Coordinate all safety efforts and procedures within production facility, ensuring adherence to applicable guidelines and regulations by all members of the production staff.Perform general production duties as needed in all departments to support production staff, ensuring project schedule is maintained and jobs are completed in a timely, efficient manner.Order necessary supplies and equipment as needed.Ensure production facility and equipment are maintained in a clean, orderly condition.Oversee training of all shop personnel.Perform all other related duties as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or GED.Five plus years of experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in related, leadership position.Experience in crane operation, sawjet operation, CNC operation, and hand fabrication/polishing is desired.Highly skilled in the ability to effectively manage and lead staff.Ability to interpret blueprints & shop drawings.Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs without assistance.Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, lift, squat, and stand for long periods.Strong attention to detail.Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow and provide written and oral instructions.Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or difficult situations.Ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team.Ability to maintain current DOT Medical Card.Must maintain valid, current drivers license.Benefits Package:Wide range of benefit options (medical, dental, vision, HSA, disability, life)Paid Time Off (PTO) so that employees can enjoy time away from workPaid holidaysRetirement saving plan (401k)
