Job description: The** **Production Supervisorwill perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Responsible for managing the work and performance of hourly shift team members.
Essential Responsibilities Manage operations on the 2nd shift to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery, and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Hourly team management of employees. Select, hire, train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership and feedback to assigned areas hourly population. Act as the liaison between hourly workers and management. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Operation Management or Production Supervision OR High School Diploma with 5 years of Manufacturing Supervision experience. Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs Established project management skills You should be proficient in:
