Production Stager Supervisor

The Staging Supervisor is to lead a team of stagers to ensure proper issuance of raw materials, creation of production orders, and the respooling/cutting of buffer spools to support the manufacturing schedule in a timely manner. The staging supervisor is responsible for the professional development and training of all staging staff and will be required to write reviews and conduct performance counseling. The staging supervisor should become an expert in all of the functions of the staging staff, and be able to fill in at any position, as needed. Primary Job Responsibilities: Supervise the stagers – including, but not limited to, the following:
Ensure all safety procedures are trained, understood, and adhered to
Ensure all staging personnel are following procedures properly to stage work for the floor
Interact with the Logistics Manager to resolve any transaction errors
Assign stagers work based on established priorities from Planning/Operations/Logistics
Ensure the staging staff operates at high productivity
Maintain a 24-48 hour minimum of stages at each production line
Complete 90-day and yearly reviews for all stagers
Secondary Job Responsibilities: Fill in for and perform any staging task as necessary
Generate reports using Microsoft Word and Excel 
Weekly meetings to review processes/procedures/common errors
Follow thru with manufactured products – MRB/QA/ETC.
Establish a process for tracking productivity in the staging department
Additional requirements: Standing and walking for long periods
Sitting
Additional tasks as identified by manager as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm may adjust slightly as training gets completed
Pay rate $17.00 per hour
