Position Summary:Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring labor and parts to support production and shipment of productsResponsibilities:* Ensure compliance with Group Quality, Safety, Equal Opportunity and Environment policies* Carry out the procurement of raw material (paper). Assess requirements, make up orders and check compliance of deliveries. Record incidents in the event of failures in suppliers' service* Ensure the reliability of paper and semi-finished product inventories* Enter all of the parameters related to correct capacity management: calendars, programmed maintenance, speeds, etc. in the system* Assess the workloads of the different production lines and, in collaboration with Logistics Management, decide on the shifts required to ensure service and offer guidance aimed at complying with the plant budget* Check the daily service plan. Assess the situation comparing it with the reference given by Management, in order to take decisions regarding deviations* Draw up the daily production plan, in line with customer needs (dates and quantities) and the optimization of available production capacity. Monitor this daily plan, anticipating and correcting any deviations* On a daily basis, check fulfilment of plan and adapt it to any necessary changes as a result of breakdowns, productivity, emergencies and other contingencies* Monitor external handlers. Enter production reports in the system* Maintain smooth and systematic communications with the rest of the areas involved in fulfilment of the plan: sales management, production, dispatch, etc.* Monitor indicators established by Logistics Management* Take part in continuous improvement actions driven forward by Logistics Management with the goal of achieving set objectivesMinimum requirements:* High school diploma or equivalent* 2-3 years in production planning, preferably in the corrugated packaging industry* Experience in production management (planning or scheduling)* Logistics and production management training* Understanding of plant equipment and capability* Computer skills* Knowledge of health and safety processes* Great organizational and analytical skillsSaica Group, is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in our workforce.
