Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a Production Operator for our client in Clinton Township, MI. Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. 6:00am to 2:30pm Saturday. Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Summary/Objective:
Perform all tasks involved in the packaging of literature kits. This work includes component placement, visual inspection, component picking, packaging and labeling. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is safe, accurate, and efficient. Work will be done within a team environment; the ability to work as a collaborative team member and live up to all of our values is paramount. Essential Functions:

Read work orders and perform work as directed by department Team leaders/ Utility. Assemble and package owner's literature kits by placing the correct components, in the correct sequence into the indicated work order package. Attach the correct labels onto the kits, totes, boxes & pallets Pack finished kits into the correct boxes, totes and/or pallets Track production on schedule boards Notify managers / team leaders/ utility of any quality or mechanical issues. Maintain a safe & clean work environment. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Other Job Functions :
1. Sorting product by number ID.
2. Making cartons
3. Removing labels off returnable Skills:
1. High school Math capabilities
2. Good organizational skills
3. Reading and writing English Work Environment:
Plant environment climate controlled, repetitive motion on assembly lines, stand up job daily. Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, components or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Position Type:
Fixed hours but the employee must be available during the core work hours of scheduled shift assigned & must work 40 hours each week. (This will vary by department.) (Over time is mandatory) Required Education/Experience:
High school Diploma or GED
