There are many machines used in the production process. You will be responsible for learning all of the processes and equipment. Your key role will be to use our PLC driven Human Machine Interface (HMI) equipment to produce high quality ink via batch tickets. The key to your success will be to produce the best quality product, on-time and practicing safety as a top priority.Essential Job Functions:Review batch tickets – read, understand and followProvide samples to labPack product into designated containers; labeling containersReport near miss incidents and improvement opportunitiesEquipment cleaning, plant cleaning, waste disposalForklift operationUnderstand SAP inventoryTub washerGather and weigh ingredients. (scale operation)Stock rotation / minimization of partial containersIngredient traceabilityOperate and trouble shoot mixing equipmentCombine ingredients in designated sequenceTraining othersPreliminary quality checksWear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and work safelyParticipate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessionFollow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position dutiesRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDExperience with quality control and safety proceduresCapable of repeatedly lifting 55 lbs. and standing for long periods of time1+ yrs of experience in a production/manufacturing environmentExperience with mixing, measuring and/or weighingPreferred Experience:1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environmentExperience with batch manufacturingDrug screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position.
