Responsibilities
• Batch processing and liquid production of solvents• Loading and offloading bulk chemical solvents into various containers• Monitor tank truck and railcar loading and unloading• Handle and maintain equipment such as pumps and filter housings• Operate forklift and pallet jack• Prepare production processes and control raw material processing• Maintain quality standards and adjust process controls• Investigate warnings and malfunctions and perform maintenance• Clean up after processing• Identify problems and recommend new techniques• Follow safety, health, and environmental standards• Comply with regulations• Ensure production targets are met• Follow procedures, work instructions, and analysis sheets• Update job knowledge• Enhance department and organization reputation• Work overtime and have reliable transportation• Work in a fast-paced team environment• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• High School graduate or GED• Speak, read, and write in English• Basic math skills• Manufacturing experience• Mechanical background/aptitude is a plus• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office• Product analytical sampling experience is a plus• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Teamwork, coordination, organization, planning• Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record• Experience operating a forklift and other manufacturing tools• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.• Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator• Ability to work varied shifts• Excellent safety, work performance, and attendance records• Pass post-offer drug screening• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
