Title: Production Manager Location: Norwalk, CT
Pay Range: $55,000 to $60,000, Salary Range (Depends on Experience)
FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
DESCRIPTION Servpro of Stamford, serving the Fairfield County (Norwalk, CT) area is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator. The Estimator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to successfully obtain, bid and price mitigation projects. They are responsible for ensuring an accurate scope of work is created, delivering a consistent and complete estimate, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with project managers, customers, and resource providers involved in mitigation services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Review job scopes and estimates to ensure accuracy. Supervise on-site crew, calculate equipment needs, and complete paperwork requirements for jobs. Monitor jobs until completion (supervise team members and job progress; ensure that proper jobsite and employee appearance and behavior protocol is being followed) Perform production work as needed. Resolve problems quickly as they arise. Perform daily walk-throughs on all jobs. Complete job file documentation, including completion of time sensitive material. Communicate job progress to appropriate parties (customer, office team, production team, management) Ensure that customer needs and expectations are exceeded. Train, and develop field crew team members. Communicate and establish rapport with commercial, insurance, and residential customers to effectively promote SERVPRO ®  services. Participate in, and contribute to, company meetings. Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets. Contribute to safety and risk management protocols. If not already IICRC certified must be able to obtain certification within the first six (6) months of employment. Other Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management. REQUIREMENTS, DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS: 2+ years of water mitigation experience required. 2+ years of estimating experience required. 1+ years of construction experience preferred. Strong managerial skills: management experience preferred, but will train the right candidate. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus. Working knowledge of Xactimate® estimating software preferred. Comfortable with technology (iPad, iPhone, PC's, etc.) Knowledgeable in job costing and quality control. Effective at monitoring and managing multiple projects. Driven to provide superior customer service. Superior organizational skills: strong attention to detail required. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including, but not limited to, proper pronunciation and correct use of grammar. Able to build rapport with individuals in high stress situations; able to show empathy; able to deal with angry or discourteous customers. Time management skills; able to effectively prioritize and plan. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Able to thrive in a fast – paced work environment. Able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, insurance adjusters, and property managers. Professional appearance and demeanor. Valid driver's license with a reasonable driving record Available to respond to emergency calls after hours. Current IICRC certifications are preferred. EDUCATION High School Diploma required. Schedule: • 40 Hours Per Week Shift Monday to Friday
• Occasional Saturdays (weekends) are required.
Overtime Requirement: We are a 24/7 Emergency Services business. You will occasionally be expected to work nights and weekends to assist our customers in their time of need during storms, cold weather, and other natural or man-made emergency situations.
WORKING CONDITIONS Environment: This position will be in-office and in the field environment; Not eligible for hybrid or remote.
Please Note: Our office is a Pet Friendly Office, occasionally you will see a couple of dogs in our office!
Ability to commute: • Norwalk, CT 06851: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Physical Demands: Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to travel from office location to job sites. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds may be required.
