Job Description Description Manage manufacturing requirements for production, quality, safety and housekeeping for first shift, and oversee performance of second and third shift.
Key Responsibilities 1. Ensure all scheduled cells are manned and running to standard rates.
2. Verify all production documentation is being completed hourly and accurately by the operators.
3. Work with production scheduler to assure all production requirements are met.
4. Notify Scheduler and Operations Manager immediately if there are any production issues.
5. Coordinate schedule and monitor progress with PST's and material handler.
6. Ensure all equipment and cell changes occur per production schedule.
7. Report and follow up on any equipment problems with Maintenance Manager.
8. Manage second and third shift PTM's and assure their performance.
9. Conduct employee reviews as directed and on-time.
10. Work with HR Manager to handle staffing and employee disciplinary actions.
11. Participate in plant meetings as required.
12. Follow all safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.
13. Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.
14. Ensure 5S standard cleanliness of equipment, cell and plant.
15. Manage and direct personnel as required.
16. Oversee the activities of the shift foremen.
17. Coordinate production requirements with parts-manufacturing, purchasing and subcontractors.
18. Plan, coordinate and ensure that "Quality System" requirements are fully followed in manufacturing.
19. MOS scrap, downtime, utilization.
20. Report downtime/tool
repairs/maintenance
to tech services manager/schedule repair time.
21. Responsible for daily/weekly production planning against customer requirements of
quantity & delivery.
Physical Demands:
Standing – sometimes required on a concrete floor
Walking – frequently required on concrete floor
Lifting – up to 60 lbs. sometimes required from floor to waist level and from shoulder to above level
Pushing/pulling – occasionally required in front of body to push material containers
Climbing – occasionally required to climb ladder/stairs

Skills Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's Degree, or High School Diploma with minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
