POSITION SUMMARY
Directs, plans, and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s), and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensure successful start-up of new products, product improvement, cost reduction, and new or modified production lines through collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage production schedule, ensuring timely delivery and effective follow-up for all orders.
Identify areas for improvement and best practices to implement to improve efficiency and output.
Act as the liaison between Sales and Production facility to ensure orders get produced and delivered in timely, cost effective manner
Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement,and productivity.
Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Interfaces with multiple departments within in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Supervises and trains staff and production work force in methods and procedures that maximize the efficient operation and application of the means of production.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years' supervisory experience
Five (5) years' experience in production
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in SQF
Bilingual
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA's)
Know and understand Quality Standards, SSOP's, applicable Pre-requisite programs, and HACCP
The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
