Mission Linen Supply is accepting applications for Production Staff - Linen FinisherResponsible for industrial laundry productionPay is $16.50/hr based on experience and location
Job seniority: entry level
Responsibilities
• Operate press equipment• Process laundry in plant established lot order• Maintain production floor distribution• Shake, sort, and sequence items for pressing• Classify and lay out items for pressing• Separate soil pick-up tickets• Check for needed repairs on items• Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system• Trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up• Load trollies into trailers• Insure colleagues practice safety procedures• Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment• Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time• Must be able to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls• Must be able to reach, stoop, kneel, or crawl• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds• High school diploma or GED• Experience working with plant equipment/machinery
