Volt is immediately hiring for Production Associates in Oxford Ohio! Clean work environment! 1st and 2nd shift opportunities! No experience needed!
As a Production Associate you will: Assemble all types of devices, working from blueprints, sketches and other established procedures and data. Alter parts to suit assemblies as required. Inspect, label, pack and identify assemblies as required. Sets-up and operates equipment, including tooling and controls. Makes necessary gauge adjustments and settings. Selects proper raw stocks and checks against blueprint specifications. Segregates, sorts, and disposes of scrap and writes scrap tickets. Counts, reports and records production. Makes necessary gauge adjustments and settings. Selects proper raw stocks and checks against blueprint specifications. Segregates, sorts, and disposes of scrap and writes scrap tickets. Counts, reports and records production. Coats surfaces of manufactured and purchased articles or equipment with finishing or protective material. Uses foampacker. Operates hoists. Assist with hanging and removing of parts on the powdercoat line. Hanging and removing parts on the paintline.
This is a full-time contract to hire opportunity.
The ideal Production Associate will have: High School Diploma or GED Warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and good attendance. Ability to carry out physical functions of the job; stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds Pay Rate: $17.50-$19.50 per hour!
