WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are hiring for three total Production Artist II, Apparel Digital Design positions supporting NBA Apparel, WNBA Apparel, and NCAA Apparel.
We're looking for a Production Artist II to join the Global Sports Apparel team. This role amplifies Apparel Design delivering flawless execution on production-ready files and is a trusted resource within the team on apparel construction. The candidate needs to have a creative approach and the ability to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment keeping design thinking forward.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you'll be working on highly visible product across sports and professional leagues. This is where sport, design and culture meet and where we are redefining apparel for both athletes and fans. You will work with design to create and finalize apparel details across multiple levels of product, from on athlete to retail. You will be inspired and challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences.
You will do this by using 2D and 3D tools to communicate design intent. A typical day could include cross-functional meetings and discussions, high-volume technical sketch creation to Nike authoring standards, PR creation, presenting to development, attending prototype reviews, maintain updates on all appropriate files until final approval. You will also maintain and document process that bring product to life. You will get to learn new tools and advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the Production Art Studio Manager, while working in collaboration with fellow Apparel and Graphic Production Artists. Outside of the Studio, your primary partners will be Apparel Design, Graphic Design, and Digital Designer.
You will be working with teams across multiple sport dimensions including NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLB, and NCAA to help support seasonal category apparel product creation. This opportunity will require independent and strong collaborative skills to communicate with your matrix partners in Product Management, Technical Development/Design, Material Development and Trim Development.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor Degree, Apparel Design or related field with 2+ years of relevant work experience Education and Training in Apparel Design or related field Expert in Illustrator with high-volume apparel technical illustration Knowledge of Pattern Layout/Patternmaking Experience in 3D apparel programs such as CLO Understanding of Smartsheet and Miro Excellent organizational skills Curiosity for learning NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
